NURSERY  - PRIMARY– JUNIOR HIGH SCHOOL

•  Educational Cooking Programs for Healthy Nutrition
•  Specific activities  designed for every age group
•  Recipes made on the spot by the children themselves.

Our Goals:

•  To interactively learn cooking raw materials – education through games (origins, traditions, fruits, vegetables, pasta, dairy and animal products etc.)
•  to initiate the way of choosing / buying food - domestic economy
•  to get accustomed to  the basic methodology of cooking, pastry making and bakery as well as how to choose / buy goods, caring for the domestic budget
•  to get to know the cooking utensils safely  and their proper use
•  to put into practice the basic hygiene and safety rules in the kitchen
•  to love healthy nourishment
•  to practice motor skills, self-concentration and creative thinking
•  to develop cooperation and communication

•  Children will create a nutritionally and tasty balanced dish and take it with them!

The Kids Cooking School supervises:

•  Fulfilling  the training program successfully
•  The supervising is conducted by the chef Kyriakos Melas
•  The cooking ingredients * / auxiliary consumables for serving
•  Children 's personal equipment / hood – aprons
•  Kitchen utensils and tools
•  In addition, 2-5 specialized expression animators - **

* If the program is supervised  by himself  this will be agreed accordingly depending on the program

** depending on the selected program : Teachers of Creation & Expression, Graduates of Senior Drama School, Graduates of Fine Arts .

In addition, depending on a particular case : University Teachers, Chefs, Pastry Chefs, and the Art Project Creator & Coordinator of "Kallitechnoupolis" Maria Mela

The Kids Cooking program includes:

Only Certified  nontoxic antiseptic hand products are used

  All children participating in the Program are insured in National Insurance Company .  They are entitled to  medical coverage and civil liability.

Educational programs:

•  Programs Duration:
•  80 ' for 1 group of children
•  120 ' for 2 groups of children
•  Maximum number per group: 30 children
•  Maximum number per day: 60 children
•  Ages: 3 - 14 years old
•  In case of 2 group visits, free creative work is provided to the children of the waiting group
